Happy new year

Mark, Bernie, Georgie and Daisy would like to wish all of our friends/members and customers a prosperous New Year.

2018 has been a memorable year for Scorpion, with 70 participants attending our Duke of Edinburgh’s award Gold Residential it’s made us one of the leading residential providers in the UK. and of course. To everyone who came, thank you for making it such great fun.

With over 3700 likes on Instagram and nearly 600 likes on Facebook our first year has proven to be a popular destination for Airsofters.

This of course would never have been possible without the invaluable assistance of our amazing members, who generously give up their time to play a convincing enemy and support the participants during their time with us. Our members have also given up their time to help develop the hospital for which we are eternally grateful.

We have had some outstanding day/night shoots this year with a variety of new games suggested by our members too. Lots of young people have started to show interest and have attended scorpion to take up airsoft for the first time. To that effect we have decided to encourage more young people to play by hosting at least one day shoot per alternate month for under 16s.

We have had quite a challenging period where we have needed to change safe zones, but with the invaluable assistance of Dan Atherton and his huge toolbox he quickly knocked up a new safe zone in the hospital.

Our Charity event in December was very well supported and raised £300 for the Cirdan Sailing Trust; the money raised will contribute to much needed navigation equipment. A massive thanks to everyone who supported the event, with special thanks to Lee and Tom Bunkle, who helped run the event and many more before.

So what have we got planned for 2019?

we are
– hosting our first corporate event in the spring
-hosting curriculum weeks for Norfolk secondary schools, summer.
-develop the hospital to make it more challenging
-holding at least one members build day per month
-running five DofE GOLD Residentials throughout the year
-walking with the wounded charity- CQB competition
-offering a greater selection of discounted weapons/weapons/equipment/pyro sales for our members
– a summer members special weekend shoot/BBQ/beer/camping at the hospital

That leaves us with just one last massive thank you for all your support humour and friendship for 2018 and we look forward to an exciting 2019 at west Raynham!!
