  • Itinerary

The week is packed full of interesting activities. Our team of Ex-Military PTI’s (Physical Training Instructors) and ex Firefighters have designed an itinerary, packed full of challenging Fitness sessions. Each day is different and perfectly balanced so you gain an insight into the fitness required for life in a Military, Emergency Services or Fitness career. Set in a beautiful rural setting with ample opportunity to make new friends along the way.

On arrival, you will have the opportunity to meet fellow participants and instructors over lunch to discuss the week ahead. After a spot of menu planning and shopping in the local Market town of Fakenham, your first evening with us will involve a BBQ and outdoor Cinema at the accommodation centre.

The 2nd day starts with an informal group discussion on why fitness is a key component in your chosen career. A fitness assessment with our PTIs follows, and a good opportunity to judge fitness levels and set goals for the forthcoming sessions.

A strength training session in the Gym is followed by a group discussion on body types and anatomy in the lounge. After Dinner, our legendary indoor cricket!

On day 3 we travel 20 minutes by minibus to Wells Next the Sea for a run and hill training session set in the stunning Pinewood Forest adjacent to the beach, the session will give you the opportunity to challenge yourself! After returning to an informal session on training programmes in the lounge before heading to the gym for circuit training. This is followed by an introduction to stretching and cooling down. In the evening we will head to the local cinema.

We certainly step up the gears on Day 4, the opportunity to test your fitness level during our Military and Emergency Services bleep and equipment carry test. A group discussion on Nutrition follows. We then head back to Wells Next The Sea in the afternoon for the classic beach and sea-run. The evening concludes with an informal dinner at the Dabbling Duck in Great Massingham, a wonderful opportunity to relax and share memories with new friends.

On the final day, It's time to pack your kit, tidy the accommodation, receive your certificate, swap numbers with your friends, and head home!

All Activities throughout the course are challenged by choice. Our team will encourage everyone to push themselves to achieve the most out of their time with us, but no one will ever be forced to participate in any of the activities.
