Please make sure you allow 30 minutes before your time slot for PPE and Weapon system familiarisation (if applicable) and a Site Tour.

Yes, Airsoft can hurt. The amount of pain you may feel will depend on a lot of factors, such as your pain tolerance, distance, clothing, and adrenaline levels. Players should expect to leave the site with welts and bruises.

An Airsoft RIF (Realistic Imitation Firearm) fires at between 250 and 350 FPS (Feet Per Second)

If you are looking for a less painful alternative? Our Gelblaster sessions are the perfect solution. 

Gel Blasters blast gellets at 100 FPS which means there are little to no issues with bruises or welts and the game is overall safer, allowing players to focus on having fun instead of worrying about getting hit.

The minimum age to play Airsoft at Scorpion is 10 years old, however, Airsoft does hurt and some younger players do not enjoy the experience. 

We recommend Gel Blaster for those aged 6 - 12/13 years old, as there is little to no issues with bruises or welts and the game is overall safer, allowing players to focus on having fun instead of worrying about getting hit

• 14 - 17-year-olds are allowed to participate with a parent, guardian or nominated adult's permission. 
• If the participant is under 14 they must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or nominated adult;
• Insurance Waivers are to be signed by all participants and spectators. If the participant is 17 and under it must be signed by a parent, guardian or nominated adult.

The Hospital and Bunker Complex site is mostly extremely close quarters, with a set 20m MED in place, snipers will struggle to engage targets within the limits of the game

• Dress appropriately – Outdoor clothing is a must.
• We recommend that players wear a boot to give better grip and ankle support. 
• You must wear long-sleeved tops and full-length trousers. (Equipment available for hire, please let us know at the time of booking if this is required)
• We recommend full finger-length gloves be worn to give maximum protection. (included in Full Rental Package)
• We recommend players bring a torch as some areas are pitch black (included in the Full Rental package).
• Do not wear mesh goggles/eye protection while playing at Scorpion Airsoft. Most of the site is extremely close quarters. Players choosing to wear mesh goggles do so at their own risk. Mesh Lower face protection is allowed. 
• Full face protection must be worn if you are under 18.
• The on-site shop will stock a limited supply of BBs, and Pyrotechnics. Cash and Card accepted.
• A Reasonable level of fitness is beneficial however remember you don’t have to be Andy McNab.
• During night games, some players may find the games claustrophobic, especially when simulated smoke is used.
• Players will have to ascend and descend numerous stairways and negotiate obstacles and trip hazards in a confined space.
• For those new, to the sport, BB pellets can sting, especially if you are hit at short range. So players should be prepared to leave the site with a few marks and bruises.
• We strongly recommend that all players take the necessary measures to protect the area of the mouth as a pellet potentially could chip a tooth.
