Job Title – Activity Instructor


Self Employed initial contract – scope for Permanent post. 


Hours – Minimum of 6 weeks during Duke of Edinburgh’s Award residential courses (accommodation and food provided), includes preparation and maintenance days. Airsoft events various days, minimum of twice per month. Private events, first aid cover. Site maintenance 1 Day per week.     


Reports to – Directors  


Job Description – Highly motivated self-driven, customer focused instructor required.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Delivery of course content for Duke of Edinburgh Airsoft         residentials.

·      Uphold Scorpion Airsoft’s core values.

·      Updating Policy and Procedures in line with current guidance and legislation.

·      Planning innovative game scenarios, tactical training and delivery.

·      Maintenance of equipment.

·      Site maintenance.

·      General office Duties.

·      Promoting Scorpion Airsoft through Social Media Platforms.

·      Bookings and Payment systems.

·      Dealing with Enquiries, bookings and client liaison through our online booking system. 

·      Generating Accounts Payable and Receivable.

·      Debt Recovery.

·      Overseas Travel to Airsoft Exhibitions.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILIITES


·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.   

·      Strong knowledge of Social Media platforms.

·      Full Clean and Valid UK driving License including Minibus License essential.

·      Demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize. 

·      Customer service focused.

·      First Aid qualified (preferred but can attend courses through the business)

·      Able to complete complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision.

·      Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions independently.

·      Ability to motivate, support and encourage independent thinking.

·      Recognize the skills and exemplary work of team members and cascade.

·      Attention to detail and meticulous use of proper safety procedures.

  • Strong time management skills and proven history of workplace punctuality.
  • Disciplined, self confidence and self-control.
  • Respect for others, embracing diversity and valuing individual contributions and viewpoints.
  • Experience of working with young people.
  • Integrity, developing trust amongst individuals and leaders.

A background in Military and or Emergency services preferred but not essential. 

Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.

References required.

Salary:  Completive Salary and package for the right candidate.
